The Inspired Women & Inspired Hub Swish

How It Works

A Swish is a fun and sustainable way to refresh your wardrobe while supporting the community. Here’s everything you need to know for Saturday 11th October, 4–7pm at The Inspired Hub:

1. Bring What You Can

Bring 1–10 items of good quality clothing, shoes, or accessories.

Women’s, men’s, and children’s items are all welcome. Please only bring pieces you’d happily pass on to a friend (clean, no holes or stains).

2. Check-In & Fashion Show

When you arrive, hand in your items at the check-in desk. Our team will sort them into categories.

Get there early to bag a good seat for the fashion show before the Swish begins!

3. Tokens = Treasures

For each item you bring, you’ll receive a token. Each token can be exchanged for a new-to-you item once the Swish opens.

4. Ready, Set, Swish!

When the countdown finishes, everyone gets to browse the rails and tables. Find the pieces you love, and “spend” your tokens to take them home.

5. Fair Play & Fitting Rooms

First come, first served! Please be kind, share the joy, and avoid hoarding.

There will be a changing area available so you can try things on before committing.

6. Leftovers Stay Local

Anything left at the end of the Swish will stay in the Hub Zero Waste Shop, going straight back into the Hub and our community.

Nothing wasted, everything loved.

So remember: Bring what you can, take what you love, and leave knowing you’ve given your clothes a second life!

Entry to The Swish is just £5, and every pound goes into the Inspired Women Fundraising Pot. This pot supports:

RUILS – an incredible local charity empowering disabled children and adults to live independent lives.

Hub Help & Services Project – a new Hampton Inspired Hub initiative supporting local residents with everyday challenges. Whether it’s feeling nervous about having people in your home, needing trusted and reasonable traders, wanting a chaperone for peace of mind, or struggling to afford small but important jobs — the Hub can help with signposting, support, and even subsidies.

So when you Swish, you’re not only refreshing your wardrobe, you’re directly supporting your neighbours and community.
